Alen Kovačević has attended a 2-week training program at our partner institution, Institute of Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia (IMI). The main topics were NGS and conventional RT-PCR methods for Rotavirus A whole genome sequencing followed by bioinformatics tools for NGS data analysis. Alen was mentored by Dr Andrej Steyer and Dr Tomaž Mark Zorec so we would like to thank them and the whole IMI team for the given knowledge and useful "tips and tricks".
