We have published our first major article in MDPI Pathogens (IF: 3.018) which brings new findings on remarkable rotavirus A (RVA) genetic diversity in foxes. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study on molecular epidemiology and genetic diversity of RVA strains circulating in foxes. Our results suggest a complex background of previous interspecies transmission events, shedding new light on the potential influence of foxes in RVA epidemiology. You can find more information on our findings in the article which is available here.
