During the very challenging 2020, we have presented our results at two virtual conferences. Dragan Brnić as an invited lecturer has presented an overview of results collected during two years of Reco project at the virtual conference Zoonotic and vector-borne diseases in the "One Health"Context organized primarily by the Croatian Institute of Public Health in October 2020. The presentation was entitled "Molecular epidemiology and zoonotic potential of rotavirus A in Croatian ecosystem".
Another invited lecture was held by the same presenter at the virtual conference SARS-CoV-2 within „One Health" concept organized by Croatian Academy of Sciences and Art in November 2020. We have presented our preliminary results on SARS-CoV-2 in selected wildlife and environmental samples which were partially collected for the Reco project. Among these results is the first detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNA in sewage water. The presentation was entitled "Wild animal species and environment as indicators of the SARS-CoV-2 presence in Croatia".
